The boiling frog is an apologue describing a frog being slowly boiled alive. The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death. The story is often used as a metaphor for the inability or unwillingness of people to react to or be aware of sinister threats that arise gradually rather than suddenly.

The working-class American wants to be able to go to work and go home. The honest day's work for an honest day's pay. What is an honest day's pay for the work you produce? The value of the product or service you create with your labor is what your employer profits from. Are you getting a reasonable share for your labor? Do you get treated with dignity and respect from our employer? According to a recent article from the Associated Press (AP) CEOs made nearly 200 times what their workers got paid last year | AP News

The median pay package for CEOs went up 12.6%. The private sector workers wages and benefits rose 4.1% through 2023. So, did you get a 4.1% raise in 2023? Are you benefiting from the inflation we are experiencing. The best way to get a piece and have a voice in working condition, benefits, and wages is collective action. Standing together in solidarity to have a seat at the table. That is what being a UNION is all about. To impower you and your coworkers to fight together to get your fair share of your labor.
